Materials: Our strength-tested, one-of-a-kind hammock design is made with 100% nylon fabric (made in the USA) and is secured with safety-rated stitching instead of knots fore ease with machine washing & drying. Our fabric and steel, auto-lockinghardware is safety rated for human weight for up to 300 lbs.
Hammock Length: Hammocks currently come in 1 size (approximately 6.5-7.5 feet of hanging fabric). Our hammocks are the same height we use at our Yogapeutics studio, and they are meant to hang 12-24 inches off the ground. They work best for ceiling heights between 8 and 10 feet, but you can purchase a hammock extender for attachment points greater than 10 feet. We find it is the perfect kid-height, which allows for standing in the fabric, climbing up the fabric and cuddling inside. Our length also allows for adults to practice an easily accessible low-flying aerial yoga. The lower height of our signature hammocks also lessens risk for injury and more control of movement as compared to a higher height aerial hammock.
Adjusting Hammock Height: Our hammocks fit attachment points between 8 and 10 feet off of the ground, but you are able to lower or raise the hammock height 12 inches with included set-up and materials. Instructions for height adjustment are demonstrated in the online webpage access, which is included with purchase. See accessories below for ceiling heights higher than 10 feet. Our hammocks are not recommended for attachment points lower than 8 feet.
Accessories: For attachment points greater than 10 feet from the floor, you may want to consider purchasing an extender with your hammock! If you are hanging your hammock directly from an eyebolt and would like to remove torque forces on the attachment point (highly recommended for safety), or make for a smoother ride in the hammock, add a swivel to your order (NOTE: swivels lower the hammock height by about 6 inches)!
For studio orders greater than 2 hammocks, please email email@example.com so we can give you a custom tailored order to best suit your studio needs!
Hammock Installation: For information on how to create an attachment point in your home, please see our Hammock Installation page!
